You named your child what? (Boys)

One of the little known benefits of our own Social Security Administration is a kick-ass database of what names Americans give their kids. It’s got the top 1000 names for every year from 1879 to 2014. Cool, huh?

One thing it doesn’t have, though, is associations with those particular names. Now, there are a couple of ways you can go about getting those, but one that I particularly like is Google’s auto complete. You know, when you type in “cliff,” and it suggests things like “cliff alexander,” “cliff notes,” “cliffs of dover,” and so on.

So, here you go – the top 10 boy names from 2014, the top auto-complete for that name (along with that person’s bio), the next 5 auto-completes, and some more (pretty random) stuff. Enjoy!
